02 / A FEW THINGS TO KNOW

Before you
say hello.

Who is Matcha for?

University students who are curious about what the people around them are building, researching, or figuring out. Your major is a starting point. Your interests and work are what make an introduction worthwhile.

Do we have to go to the same school?

For now, yes. Matcha matches you with students on your own campus so the two of you can actually sit down for coffee. Cross-school introductions are on the roadmap.

What if my calendar is a mess?

That’s exactly the idea. When you connect your calendar, Matcha uses your availability to find a time that works for both of you and suggests a café on campus. You can skip the connection initially.

What should we talk about?

Start with what you’re working on, something you’re stuck on, or the interest that brought you together. You’ll have a little context before you meet. No pitch required.
